What if the remote commander does not work?

Check the Bluetooth settings on the camera

  • [Bluetooth Function] may be set to [Off] on the camera.

    On the camera, select MENU →(network) → [Bluetooth] or [Bluetooth Settings] → [Bluetooth Function] and make sure that [On] is selected.

  • [Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl] may be set to [Off] on the camera.

    On the camera, select MENU →(network) → ([Bluetooth]) → [Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl] and make sure that [On] is selected.*

    * Depending on your camera, the following menu may appear instead.
    MENU →(network) → [Transfer/Remote] → [Bluetooth Rmt Ctrl] → [On]

Check the settings on this unit

  • The remote commander may be disabled. Set the ZOOM/FOCUS/LOCK switch on this unit to the “ZOOM” or “FOCUS” position.

  • The pairing with the camera may be lost. Pair this unit with the camera all over again.

  • The battery in this unit may be worn out. Replace the battery with a new one.
